A Six Seasons journal

Empoderadalike a sunflower

A bilingual guided journal for daughters of immigrants, eldest daughters and every woman who learned to carry more than her share. Written in the Spanglish we grew up speaking, it walks with you through two journeys: Healing desde la Raíz, where you look at what you inherited and what you're ready to give back, and Hacia la Luz, where you choose what to nurture, how to stand tall and what to plant for the women who come after you.

Six Seasons

Life moves in seasons

Six Seasons began in 2021 as a cookbook, around one idea: life moves in seasons, and none of them is the wrong one. Each one asks something different of you.

WinterFoundation

Roots. The quiet work below the surface.

SpringAdapt

Change arrives. You learn to bend without breaking.

SummerFlourish

The growth you can finally see.

FallRestore

Letting go, resting, making room.

All yearMaintain

The steady habits that hold everything up.

The limboIn between

Un espacio en medio, when you're not quite one or the other.

Knowing which season you're in changes what you do next. That is the heart of the Six Seasons method. Empoderada is the first book to come from it, and there's more on the way.

About

Hola, soy Alex.

Hijita. Mija. Mi niña. Para mi mamá.
Alejandrita, para mi abuela.
La Flaca, para mi tía.
Mi More, para mi papá.
Prima. Sister. Tía. Tita.

So many names for one person. So many little ways to belong. And sometimes, all it takes is hearing your name called from across a room to remember just how much love there is in the ordinary moments.

Alexandra is my government name. The one I use in meetings, on paperwork, and when I introduce myself to the world.
For years, my CV said Alex. A small hope that they'd mistake me for a man and give me a chance.
And if we're friends, you call me Alex.

I've been many things to many people. Some I've chosen. Others I've grown into. All of them are part of me.

Maybe I'm you.
Maybe I'm not.
Maybe I'm all of the above.

Pero si te reconoces aquí, this space is yours.

Sessions

Journal together

Some pages are easier with company. I host small guided sessions, online or in person, where I walk you through a theme from Empoderada and we write together, sin prisa.

For friends, women's circles, teams and community groups.
